Dr. Lytle-Vieira is a board certified osteopathic physician specializing in traditional osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) for infants, children, and adults.
Osteopathic manipulative medicine is a gentle, effective non-surgical treatment approach for pain, chronic injuries/strains, and a wide variety of medical conditions. Abnormal body patterns, chronic postural/functional strains, disordered joint motion, traumatic forces, and compression/restrictions in all body tissues/areas are diagnosed and treated.
Osteopathy is part of the practice of medicine. Notable institutions such as Harvard and the Mayo Clinic Health System recognize the unique benefits of osteopathy and offer osteopathic treatment services to patients and training in osteopathy to physicians.
Dr. Lytle-Vieira is board certified in osteopathic manipulative medicine/neuromusculoskeletal medicine with additional board certification in integrative holistic medicine.
